Credit + Backlink Policy

We’re proud to feature the work of talented creatives in our Real Wedding and Styled Shoot spotlights. To maintain consistency and fairness across the platform, please note the following policies regarding credits and backlinks:

1. Photographer Credit
All features will include clear credit for the photographer, typically in the form of a name or business name listed in captions or at the beginning of the article.

2. Backlinks
We do not include external website links in Real Wedding or Styled Shoot galleries or blog posts.

Backlinks are reserved for paid vendor profiles only.
This ensures a fair and consistent experience for all contributors and aligns with our platform's advertising structure.

3. Submissions vs. Features Curated by Advertisers

If you are submitting a wedding or shoot for consideration, you will be able to review and approve the gallery prior to publication.
If your work is being featured as part of a wedding tied to one of our advertising vendors, the gallery is curated in-house and presented as part of that vendor’s promotional package.

4. Removal Requests
If you prefer not to have your work featured without a backlink, we will respect that decision and remove your images upon request.

We truly value the creative work that brings wedding stories to life, and our goal is always to give proper credit while maintaining transparency and fairness for everyone involved.

Social Media Credit + Tagging Policy

We love giving vendors the exposure they deserve, and we make it a priority to tag all vendors involved in a featured wedding or styled shoot when sharing on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Here’s how we handle it:

1. Vendor Tagging

All participating vendors will be tagged in social media posts whenever possible.
Tags are pulled from the vendor list submitted with the gallery or provided by the lead vendor (usually the planner or photographer).
Be sure to submit your correct @handles for Instagram and Facebook to ensure you’re credited properly.

2. Backlinks on Social Media

Social media posts do not include website links (due to platform limitations).
If you're a paid advertising partner, you may be tagged in stories, reels, and other promotional content beyond wedding features.

3. Maximum Exposure, Always
We aim to support our local vendor community and will always do our best to give proper credit and visibility—especially when content is shared multiple times or reshared by our partners.
